of course this is all evolving....

place based, local leadership development and community building.  creating organizing infrastructure through direct services work (base building and relationships). connecting everyday needs to larger systems of oppression, history of resistance.  connecting local work to larger geographies (city, region, state, national).... locus at local level - neighborhoods.  

struggle with allies/colleagues without judgement.  people of color leadership.  personal healing from trauma and oppression.  dialectical/ yin yang everywhere.  everything in tension, everything in balance.  personal - community, material world - spiritual world, individual - systems, process - outcome, etc....

i believe that this next generation is charged with coming up with a new analysis - building off all the old stuff... but something also radically new.  i believe we are dealing with a finite amount of time.  the universe will seek balance - if we can't do it within humanity, then the universe will do it without humanity.  thats what i think global warming is all about....
