About Me:
I'm 31 years old, a young woman of scottish/english/irish working class (raised poor) heritage living and working in London, England; I became politicised after spending two years living and volunteering in Mississippi with the ACLU and being involved in anti-racism student organising from 97-99; I am a passionate builder of community and activist for change, and am constantly learning more and more how to do this... which is why I'm wanting to plug into this network to keep learning and building stronger relationships of solidarity internationally! I'm in the process of reflecting how best to do this... and am looking to talk, dialogue, share with folks about this.... thanks! peace & power, Mhari

Working towards building an egalitarian world through bottom up organising - working with the folks 'at the bottom' and organising to support them in taking leadership in creating change and dismantling the oppressive systems in our world...
alongside doing the external 'dismantling', we must also look into ourselves simultaneously and how we too have been conditioned, hurt, taught oppressive thinking and behaviour and also how we have internalised oppressions.... the two very much need to be done in tandem...
