critical self-reflection in action. Thinking with communities and disaggregating the histories and identities of people within them. Studying my history and the history of whereever I am at. Learning to understand where different people coming from rather than closing my heart to them. Contributing my skills to community work, asking how they can be helpful and shifting myself if I need to adjust my contributions.
