Rosita Film Screening

During the National Week of Action for Reproductive Justice, COLOR (the Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights) will be hosting a film screening at the Bug Theatre on April 16th at 6pm. The documentary is titled “Rosita”. It is about a young girl from Nicaragua who became pregnant after being raped. The film shows her parents’ struggle against the Nicaraguan and Costa Rican governments, the medical establishment and the Catholic Church after their daughter chooses to have an abortion.
