Tools to Build the Movement: The BLOC Network and MyBLOC.Net
A training for organizers, artists and activists
Dear Friends,
Joint us this friday for an introduction to the BLOC Network and MyBLOC.net.
The BLOC Network (Building Leadership, Organizing Communites) is a national network of people working in communites of color MyBLOC.net us an online political networking site to support the networks movement building work in communities around the country.
At the training you will:
- Get an introduction to the history, purpose and role of BLOC in the movement
- Use the RepYaBLOC training to identify your personal goals, ideas, communities and the vehicles through which you work for change
- Find ways to use the BLOC network tools and mybloc.net to help you achieve your goals and the goals of the organizations and communities you are a part of
