On Tuesday the Gallup Daily Election Polling Results had shown Barack Obama holding a firm lead over Republican rival 72 year old John McCain. The current online polling tracks back to March 7, 2008 and this resent breakthrough for Obama should be seen as an encouraging sign to the Democratic Party.
